Precision Grinding
Six dedicated grinding machines: cylindrical, surface, universal and internal/face. When the drawing calls for mirror finishes and micron tolerances, grinding is our reference department.

Inside the process
Grinding completes the machining cycle where turning and milling are not enough: flatness, cylindricity and roughness controlled and certified by Zeiss dimensional inspection.
Six machines cover the full spectrum: the Okamoto for external cylindrical grinding, the Grisetti and Iron surface grinders for flat work, the universal Jones & Shipman for the finest jobs and the two WMW machines for internal and face grinding — the rarest specialty to find in subcontracting. This lets us grind bores, faces and diameters to the same quality, without depending on external suppliers and without stretching lead times.
